Join us for Unlocking Frictionless Trade, a hybrid event hosted by the British Consulate General Auckland and the BNZBA, exploring how TradeTech is reshaping the way the United Kingdom and New Zealand businesses export and import goods.
This session will highlight key findings from an April 2026 report convened by the UK Government on trade digitalisation, showing how new digital solutions are already helping firms reduce costs, cut paperwork, and move goods across borders more quickly and efficiently.
You’ll hear from Boex, a UK TradeTech start‑up supporting exporters to digitise trade documentation and processes. On a recent live shipment, an exporter using Boex achieved:
- 83% faster processing times
- 60% reduction in document preparation time
- 55% fewer documents required
An expert panel will then examine the wider trade digitalisation landscape in New Zealand and globally—what’s delivering results today, what’s emerging internationally, and what exporters should be preparing for in the years ahead.
Panel speakers include:
- Stephanie Honey, International Trade Policy Consultant, Honey Consulting
- Andrew Balgarnie, Chief Strategy Officer, TradeWindow
- Jamie Thompson, Manager Trade Policy, New Zealand Customs Service/Te Mana Ārai O Aotearoa
With the increasing challenges being faced by exporters digitalisation will be a critical element in capturing the full value of international trade so join us for this insight into what your business should be considering.
